Orion Carrier is a Tax Preparer registered with the IRS, and EFILE-registered in both the United States and Canada. Amiable, conscientious and thorough, Orion is available for tax filings, bookkeeping and instruction…  his home or yours.

Orion graduated from Computer Engineering, with the equivalent of a math minor, at the University of Victoria in 2008.  He worked in high tech in Victoria for five years, at GeoDigital International Inc.

After his software department was downsized, he was hired to research the US tax system for his family, who sought compliance through the Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedure (the US tax amnesty program). Other clients followed.

In the process, Orion has processed everything from RRSP’s and TFSA’s to RESP’s and RDSP’s, mutual funds to stock options, self-employment to royalties and real estate, “treaty-based positions” to “controlled foreign corporation” reports.  Even exotic filings become routine once the tax preparer is familiar, so Orion’s service costs you less.

Orion is also able to assist owner-operators of Canadian corporations whose filings are relatively similar from year to year, and whose income can’t justify a CA (for tax advice with regard to corporate structure and direction, the advice of a CGA is highly recommended).
